What is a Custom GOBO ?
It's an image of the Bride and Groom's names or initials surrounded by a romantic heart or other shapes projected onto the dance floor or a wall. A Custom GOBO can also be 1,2,3 or full color and be a corporate name or logo. You can also use a full color photograph.

How Large is the projected image ?
The image can be 3-10 feet wide on the dance floor and 3-30 feet or larger on a wall. Depending on room dimensions (projection distance) your final GOBO image could potentially be even larger, if you wish.

Is the image stationary or rotating ?
It can be either. A slow rotation on the dance floor is recommended which allows the image to be read from any location in the room.

What color is the image ?
The image can be laser sharp white light making it compatible with the colors you've chosen for your Reception decor, or it can be 1 color, 2 color, 3 color or it can be full color.

The dance floor is a focal point of the Reception area, but it's just an empty surface during cocktails and dinner. When your Guests enter the Reception and see your names projected on the dance floor, you will have created the "wow" factor. Your Guests will realize that your Reception is going to be special. Your projected names surrounded by the romantic heart embody your commitment to each other and also create a unique backdrop for your first dance.

How do I order Custom GOBOs for my Reception or Party Event?
Just call Jamrock Entertainment and we will take care of the rest. Our intelligent lighting package is capable of projecting your GOBOs for you at your event. If you are not interested in the intelligent lighting package, we can rent you a GOBOs projection light instead.
LIGHTING - TEXT AND GRAPHIC EFFECTS - Custom GOBOS Design Prices:
Requires two weeks advance notice because your monogram GOBO will be crafted to your specifications. If you do not have a design and we will be creating one for you, please allow us three weeks for design time and your final approval.
Custom Monogram Projection ($150.00)
Your monogram can be projected anywhere in the room - floor, ceiling, above the buffet or
cake, center of the dance floor. You choose the font and the text. Examples include
initials, names and date. The text image can be projected in white, blue, yellow, red, or
green light. White light tends to produce the most dramatic and sharpest effect on a
dance floor. If you require a custom color, please contact us and we can discuss
having a specialized colored glass insert produced for you at an additional cost. After
your event, we will present you with your custom monogram GOBO as a keepsake.
Second identical custom monogram ($50.00)
Custom Art- Shaped Projection Lighting ($150.00 - $500.00)
Are you artistic? Do you have a design motif in mind for your event? Simple, line-art
designs work best when creating your custom GOBO. Examples of past clients' work
include: orchid blossom, rose stencil, Celtic design, family crest, daisy chain, fleur de
lis, dove, Greek symbols, Japanese text, butterfly, angel, winter tree, sail boat..... if you
can create it- we will be happy to discuss crafting your line art into a custom GOBO.
Simple designs without colored glass cost less and are generally $150.00. If you are
interested in designing a GOBO with several layers of colored glass to match your
event theme colors, the final cost will be more. Please call for details. And of course,
after your event, we will present you with your custom designed GOBO as a keepsake.
